Mederis operates this webinar registration platform to provide accredited medical education content to licensed healthcare professionals in Switzerland. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP / nDSG), in force since 1 September 2023.

By submitting a registration form on this platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

3.2 Professional identity verification (via Swiss RX Login)

Registration of your healthcare professional status is verified through Swiss RX Login, a third-party identity service for Swiss HCPs. Upon successful verification, we receive and store the following data from their service:

3.5 Feedback / post-webinar survey data

At the end of a webinar you may be invited to complete a short satisfaction survey (3 rating questions and 1 optional open-text comment).

Submitting the survey is entirely voluntary. Aggregated, anonymised results (e.g. average ratings and anonymised summaries of open-text comments) may be shared with the event sponsors and with the scientific committee/speakers to evaluate and improve the educational content. Individual, identifiable responses are not shared with these parties.

3.6 Live webinar interaction data

Recording: Live webinars are recorded in full, including the video and audio stream. These recordings may subsequently be made available as on-demand webinars, accessible to other registered and verified healthcare professionals.

Public chat: Any messages you send in the public chat during a live webinar are transmitted to and processed by MyOwnConference, the platform hosting the event. Chat content may be retained by MyOwnConference in accordance with their own privacy policy, and may be included in or associated with the on-demand recording. Please treat the public chat as a visible, recorded channel and avoid sharing sensitive personal information there.

We engage the following third-party processors who act on our documented instructions. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement and is prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.

Swiss RX Login — Fondazione Refdata & Refdata Services GmbH
Professional identity verification service for Swiss healthcare professionals. Swiss RX Login is operated by Fondazione Refdata and its subsidiary Refdata Services GmbH, both domiciled at Baarerstrasse 2, 6300 Zug, Switzerland (admin@refdata.ch). We receive the result (AccType, AccID, AccGrp, email) and store it alongside your registration record.
Switzerland — adequate protection
Microsoft Azure — Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd
Used exclusively for transactional email delivery (your registration confirmation and personal join link). Only your name and email address are transmitted.
EU (Ireland) — adequate protection
MyOwnConference
Live webinar hosting platform. Your name, email address, and registration details are shared with MyOwnConference to generate your personal participant link and to admit you to the event. Additionally, public chat messages you send during a live webinar are processed and may be retained by MyOwnConference. Data may be processed on servers located outside Switzerland; appropriate contractual safeguards apply.

Bunny.net — BunnyWay d.o.o.
Content delivery network used to serve on-demand webinar videos. Access to each video is protected by a server-generated, time-limited signed token. Your personal data is not directly transmitted to Bunny.net; only the anonymised signed URL is used by your browser to stream the video. The primary infrastructure node is located in Frankfurt, Germany.
